Those who hope to re-enter civilian life after retiring from the military often find that their opportunities for a fresh start are limited. Unfortunately, the civilian job market frequently undervalues their skills, making the transition to civilian life extremely difficult.
As a result, many veterans struggle to find stable employment after leaving the service, facing a host of challenges.
Specifically, these challenges include substance abuse, PTSD, poverty, and in the worst cases, suicide. These issues are not confined to the United States; they are common across many countries.
I believe this problem stems from the inadequate support for the transition from military to civilian life.
I am committed to ensuring that the dedicated efforts of these veterans are rewarded with economic stability, supporting their journey into a new life.
Despite gaining extensive skills, knowledge, and experience in the military, many veterans struggle to translate these into value in the civilian job market. Often, they find employment in local businesses without fully considering the reasons and purposes behind their choices, leading to a lack of fulfillment. Additionally, the employment knowledge that applies to typical job seekers doesn’t directly transfer to veterans, highlighting a gap in specialized knowledge and guidance.
Furthermore, the loss of identity significantly impacts their self-esteem. To address this issue, we propose an approach that leverages the cultural strengths and skills unique to the military. This method involves utilizing cultural differences as strengths, rather than erasing the identity forged through military service. By doing so, we support veterans in smoothly adapting to society and achieving success.

I began my career in the conventional business world. For instance, I led projects connecting American high-tech firms with Japanese factories and manufacturers.
